Where our shopping links lead

Gear cards may link to a specific Amazon product detail page, an Amazon search-results page, or an Amazon-provided shortened link. A search-results link is not verification of the precise model shown on our website. If the link opens search results, compare the manufacturer, model number, specifications, included accessories, voltage and seller before choosing a listing. Shortened links may redirect; their individual final destinations and referral attribution are not independently guaranteed by the card.

How we choose and compare gear

Our comparisons explain intended jobs, published specifications, compatibility and limitations; they do not claim hands-on testing unless an actual test and its method are explicitly documented. A photograph can depict a tool class or representative model, as identified in its caption, and should not be treated as proof that a listing includes the photographed item. Availability, prices, package contents and manufacturer specifications can change.
