Why Canada uses region-specific land checks
Surface ownership, mineral tenure, claims and protected-area rules differ by province and territory. The map therefore links to jurisdiction-specific guidance instead of pretending that one national overlay can establish collecting rights.
Can I get directions from the map?
Yes. Navigation-active records provide Google Maps, Apple Maps and OpenStreetMap links. A directions link is a travel aid, not proof that collecting is allowed at the destination.
