Does the highest match mean the best machine?
No. The lab does not publish a quality score. It shows whether a source-verified option conflicts with the constraints you entered and highlights scale or experience cautions that deserve review.
Why can a cheaper machine be a better match?
If it safely handles the actual job, fits the available power and meets realistic throughput, extra capacity may not add value. Unused capacity can increase purchase, shipping, consumable and workspace cost.
Are these products hands-on tested by USA Rockhounding?
Not unless a page explicitly says so and documents the test. The comparison lab currently distinguishes source-verified specifications from editorial fit logic.
