COUNTRY FIELD GUIDE

Croatia Rockhounding Map & Field Guide

Croatia coverage is protection-first. Protected minerals and fossils and their protected discovery sites cannot be taken from nature without Ministry permission, exceptional finds must be reported, and cave/speleological sites prohibit removal of fossils and other findings. Visitor access to geoparks, mines, caves or dinosaur-track sites is therefore not presented as collecting permission.
